New Traffic Light : Persiaran Wawasan/Persiaran Indera Junction

With the opening of the new link road between Pusat Bandar Puchong and Bandar Puchong Jaya, we have see an increased number of traffic volume at Persiaran Wawasan and Persiaran Indera. Consequently, the 'T' junction at Persiaran Wawasan/Persiaran Indera (near the Wawasan Park)has become busier. Also, this does not help when more and more residents use Persiaran Wawasan and Persiaran Indera to travel between Bandar Puteri, Pusat Bandar Puchong and Bandar Puchong Jaya. In addition to several near-misses, there were several accidents happened at this junction especially during morning and evening rush hours.
The problem became exacerbated when some impatient and reckless drivers do not want to give way and this has resulted in numerous accidents. In the wake of the higher accident cases and mindful of residents' safety, JKP Zone 16 members have raised its concern to MPSJ and requested that a traffic light be installed at this junction. It is hoped that with a traffic light installed, the traffic flow will be more regulated thus minimising the number of accidents.
JKP 16 member was on site today to snap some pictures of ongoing work at this junction. The traffic lights holes have been dug and wiring work in progress.

More pictures to come later.

Thanks to Puan Azlina (who is in charge of Landscape Department MPSJ) and MPSJ for their kindness. We are greatly appreciative to Puan Azlina.

Syabas!

Flat Wawasan 5/3 : Let There Be Light

Recently, the lamp posts at Wawasan 5/3 flats were repaired by MPSJ. The compound at the flats is now brighter at night. We thank our JKP 16 colleague for her diligence in reporting the faulty lamp posts to MPSJ and pushing for repair.
