Majlis Pelancaran Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Puchong

Balai Bomba dan Penyelamat Puchong yang baru di Pusat Bandar Puchong telah dilancarkan oleh YS PKPjB Soiman Bin Jahid, Pengarah Jabatan Bomba dan Penyelamat Negeri Selangor pada hari Jumaat 30hb Oktober 2009 pukul 9.30 pagi. Ahli JKP Zon 16 telah dijemput untuk menghadiri majlis pelancaran ini.

Dengan adanya balai bomba dan penyelamat di kawasan ini, JKP Zon 16 dan penduduk-penduduk kawasan Puchong mengharapkan ia dapat memberi perkhidmatan kebombaan dan penyelamatan yang cekap dan profesional bagi menyelamatkan nyawa, harta benda dan alam sekitar semasa berlakunya kebakaran, kemalangan dan bencana dengan menggunakan sumber secara berkesan dan teknologi terkini.

Traffic Light Update : Persiaran Wawasan/Persiaran Indera junction

We wish to update you on the status of traffic light at Persiaran Wawasan/Persiaran Indera junction.

We would like to make a clarification here in that the traffic light is contributed by developer SP Setia. A big thank you to SP Setia.

This traffic light is not yet operational due to some technical issues which need to be resolved with TNB. We were informed that MPSJ, SP Setia and TNB are working to tackle the technical issues.

We will keep you posted on any update.

Collection and Cleaning Services by Alam Flora

This is a continuation of our educational and awareness series.

JKPZone 16 will be publishing a series of articles to educate and create public awareness on filing complaints with MPSJ.

A while ago, we did a short write-up on how to lodge a complaint with MPSJ. Today, we will touch on collection and cleaning services run by Alam Flora Sdn Bhd. There are 5 services outsourced to Alam Flora Sdn Bhd:

1) Domestic waste collection (Kutipan Sisa Domestik)
2) Garden refuse collection (Kutipan Sisa Kebun/Sampah Longgok)
3) Road sweeping (Sapuan)
4) Drain clearing (Pembersihan Longkang)
5) Grass cutting (Pemotongan Rumput)

All taman will have an Alam Flora signboard erected highlighting the sub-contractor (name and contact number displayed) in charge of collection (kontraktor kutipan) and cleaning (kontraktor pembersihan). Also displayed is the Alam Flora Toll-Free number 1-800-880-880.

Besides complaining directly to MPSJ, residents can straightaway contact the sub-contractors or Alam Flora in matters related to the above 5 services.

Sri Cempaka Family Day Event

The Sri Cempaka Family Day Event was held on 26 Sat 2009 in conjuction with Hari Raya and Mid-Autumn Festival. It was a multi-racial family day event where residents got the opportunity to mingle around. Ada semangat muhibbah and children lighted up lanterns. Kudos to the organisers of the event for fostering community living and camaraderie!

Burned-out Streelights at Persiaran Wawasan and Jalan Wawasan 2/3 Repaired

On 29th Sept 2009, JKP 16 contacted MPSJ to repair burned-out streetlights at Persiaran Wawasan and Jalan Wawasan 2/3, Pusat Bandar Puchong.

We are glad to inform residents that on 7th Oct 2009, the repair work had taken place. Now the streetlights are back to normal. Syabas MPSJ!
