Amber Rubbish Bin At Jalan Bandar 1 & 2

The JKP 16, MPSJ and SP Setia had initiated the 'Clean Zone' project by distributing amber rubbish bins to shops along Jalan Bandar 1 and 2. This has reduced the number of illegal rubbish dumping at various sections of the 2 streets. At the same time, the 'roro' tongs had been decommissioned with the introduction of new amber bins.

Taman Wawasan Lake - Cleanup

On 21 May 2011, MPSJ contractors went into the lake to cleanup rubbish. This could be avoided if people do not throw rubbish into the lake and its surrounding!

Illegal Rubbish Dumping at MPSJ Recycling Centre

On 15 Dec 2009, we were alerted by our JKP 16 member of illegal rubbish dumping at one MPSJ Recycling Centre. The place was full of foul stench as some irresponsible people threw leftover food, soiled diapers, innards, etc in front of the recycling centre.

The recycling centre accepts glass, paper, aluminium and plastic.

Rubbish Cleared Away : Persiaran Puteri 2

On April 14 2009 morning, a JKP 16 member informed us that while driving along Persiaran Puteri 2 (link road to Jalan Wawasan), he noticed that Alam Flora contractors were clearing the rubbish from the slope.

We wish to remind residents that if we see any irresponsible people dumping rubbish into the slope, we should quickly stop them from doing so. Alternatively, snap photos of their illegal act using mobile phone, submit and complain immediately with MPSJ.
