Sesi Dialog YB Gobind Singh Dengan Penduduk Zone 16 Pada 2 Mei 2009

Pada 2 Mei 2009 hari Sabtu telah diadakan satu sesi dialog bersama YB Gobind Singh dengan peduduk Zon 16 merangkumi Pusat Bandar Puchong dan Bandar Puteri Puchong. Sesi itu diadakan di Taman Tasik Wawasan, Pusat Bandar Puchong. Turut hadir ialah ahli Majlis Zon 16 Encik Tan Jo Hann.

Traffic Study - Site Visit at Giant/Lebuh Puteri

On 14th May 2009, Councilor Tan Jo Hann and several JKP 16 members 'turun padang' by making a site visit to the Giant/Lebuh Puteri area to gauge the traffic flow and congestion issue.

A thorough study involving the local council, developer, police, etc. will be conducted later.

Speed Table Installed : Lebuh Puteri 7

In continuation to our earlier posting regarding Lebuh Puteri 7 traffic issue, here is the latest update. Also, read Acacia Puteri's blog for the same update.

Our JKP 16 member alerted us that the speed table was installed by IOI contractor at Lebuh Puteri 7 on 12th May 2009 morning.

It is hoped that the with the installation of this speed table, the number of accidents will be reduced at this dangerous junction.

Pada 7 Mei 2009, sebanyak 10 batang pokok di Jalan Wawasan 3/14, Pusat Bandar Puchong telah dicantas dahan-dahannya.

Ini adalah kerana apabila hujan lebat dengan angin kencang, dahan-dahan pokok ini bergoyang dan penduduk bimbang ia akan tumbang ke atas jalan.

MPSJ mulling ways to keep height barrier standing

THE height barrier at the link road between Persiaran Wawasan and Jalan Serindit in Puchong has been knocked down six times in the past few months.

Subang Jaya Municipal Council (MPSJ) councillor Tan Jo Hann said the culprits were either garbage truck drivers who wanted to dump rubbish illegally, or drivers of heavy vehicles using the road as a shortcut.

“The last time it happened, which was on May 2, the driver of a small truck was trying to get through but it got stuck at the barrier instead.

“The MPSJ had to take down the metal structure, and will issue a summons to the company and the driver for going against the rule,” he said, adding that it cost about RM8,000 to make a new height barrier each time it was destroyed.

“We reuse the structure if possible, but if it’s beyond repair, we have to make a new one,” he said.

As it is a recurring problem, some people have suggested that the 2.4m barrier be removed once and for all.

“I don’t think it’s feasible as the residents will have a hard time putting up with the noise when heavy vehicles ascend the slope.

“The other alternatives we have are to lower the height barrier to 1.9m or to reinforce the structure, perhaps by constructing a thicker cement base so that the height barrier will not fall easily,” Tan said.

He added that some also tried to squeeze through on the road shoulder to avoid driving past the height barrier. “We are also looking at fencing up the road shoulder to prevent them from doing so,” he said.

Gantry Fallen Again At Persiaran Wawasan Link Road

Adalah dilaporkan oleh ahli JKP Zon 16 bahawa ada satu kes kejadian perlanggaran sebuah trak terhadap penghadang kenderaan berat di Persiaran Wawasan, Pusat Bandar Puchong (Zon JKP 16) pada hari Sabtu 2 Mei 2009 ini. Butir-butir adalah berikut:

1) Masa kejadian : lebih kurang 1:30 tengahari. Ahli-ahli JKP mula berhubung melalui telefon berkenaan kejadian ini pada lebih kurang 1:39pm. Langsung ahli JKP bergegar ke tempat kejadian dan mendapati butiran berikat :

2) Hari kejadian : 2 Mei 2009

3) BDM Trak : 4500 kg
BTM Trak : 2100 kg

4) Jenis kenderaan : Mitsubishi Fuso

5) Sketsa kejadian:
Trak datang dari arah Persiaran Wawasan menuju ke jalan pintasan Serindit-Persiaran Wawasan. Semasa melalui penghadang kenderaan berat, trak tersekat di 'leher' kenderaan. Di samping itu, penghadang besi kenderaan diheret oleh 'leher' trak mengakibatkan penhadang besi senget teruk hampir jatuh ke tanah. Kedua-dua konkrit foundation penhadang besi dicabut ke atas akibat perlanggaran itu.

6) Unit respons
Polis tiba di tempat kejadian menolong mengawal traffik. Ahli Majlis Encik Tan Jo Hann yang berada di Bandar Puteri dimaklumkan melalui telefon dan segera pergi ke tempat kejadian. Unit Respons MPSJ juga dipanggil dan bergegar ke tempat kejadian.

7) Kerja pembersihan
Penghadang besi telah dikeluarkan oleh sebuah traktor dan diletakkan di bahu jalan.

Dialogue Between Puteri ABC RA, Police, Councillor and JKP

A dialogue session focusing on Puteri 7 matters was held at Sri Camelia apartment on 12 April 2009 10.00am to 11.30am. Present were RA representatives of Acacia Puteri 7, Sri Begonia and Sri Camelia (nicknamed ABC RA), councillor Tan Jo Han, police Sergeant Matsood and JKP Zone 16 members.

Rubbish Cleared Away : Persiaran Puteri 2

On April 14 2009 morning, a JKP 16 member informed us that while driving along Persiaran Puteri 2 (link road to Jalan Wawasan), he noticed that Alam Flora contractors were clearing the rubbish from the slope.

We wish to remind residents that if we see any irresponsible people dumping rubbish into the slope, we should quickly stop them from doing so. Alternatively, snap photos of their illegal act using mobile phone, submit and complain immediately with MPSJ.

No More Obstruction : Cutting of Bamboo Tree At Persiaran Wawasan

Sebelum:

Pada Apil 29, ahli JKP telah meminta bantuan MPSJ untuk memanggil kontraktor mencantas pokok buluh yang tumbuh tinggi-tinggi belaka. Di samping itu, sebahagian daripada batang buluh telah tumbuh sehingga mencecahi tengah jalanraya dan membahayakan penguna jalanraya.

Lokasi masalah : Di Tepi Jalan Persiaran Wawasan Di Hadapan Restoran Steamboat Wawasan 4, Pusat Bandar Puchong. Lokasi masalah ini adalah juga terletak di hadapan kedai-kedai satu tingkat di Wawasan 4, Pusat Bandar Puchong.

Pada 1 Mei, kontraktor telah mencantas pokok buluh itu. Pada 2 Mei, pihak kontraktor telah menghantar orang untuk membersihkan pokok buluh yang dipotong sehari sebelumnya.
