Traffic Light Installed At T-Junction of Persiaran Wawasan-Jalan Wawasan 2/23

Traffic light was installed at T-junction of Persiaran Wawasan-Jalan Wawasan 2/23 to better manage traffic flow during peak hours. This is because traffic gridlock becomes more apparent during morning school hours, around noon time and evening after school hours.
Councillor Tan Jo Hann together with several JKP and MPSJ engineering staff members met members of the press to explain about the junction traffic lights at the corner of Pesiaran Indera & wawasan 2/23 . The site inspection the newly installed lights which was set up in order to regulate the traffic flow at the junction because it was observed that an unregulated junction was quite hazardous and have been creating traffic flow problems for that area.

The site visit found several issues which needed more attention and will be brought up in a special meeting between MPSJ and SP setia who was responsible for the installation of the lights as part of their infrastructure contribution to the area.

Councillor Tan wanted to assure the residents that this system will be carefully studied and amended if necessary, and finally a trial run will be carried out to see if the lights are serving its function. This is all done in close consultation with representatives from the local communities, the MPSJ and SP setia.
